All pets must be under restraint on owner's or custodian's property. Owners and custodians of dogs and cats will exercise diligence and reasonable care to prevent their animal(s) from leaving their premises. Please have your pets enclosed within your home, fence, pen or other enclosure where the animal cannot climb, dig, jump or otherwise escape. Such enclosure must be securely fastened any time the animal is left unattended. We must be considerate for our children's safety as they play within our community. Please be aware that if animal control is called, the animal leash ordinance will be enforced, and your dog may be impounded. Upon recovery of your pet, the owner will be fined. Please keep your pets refined to a leash when in public to avoid any unfortunate incidents such as: dog bites, dogs causing auto accidents, dogs being hit by motor vehicles, spread of rabies, dogs being impounded.
