Now for a more delicate matter. Many of us in the neighborhood have dogs that live in our homes. Many of those dogs need to get outside and stretch their legs daily. Sometimes when our dogs get outside and start stretching their legs, other bodily functions seem to get activated, too. That activation occasionally ends up falling onto one of our neighbor’s yards, leaving a most unpleasant experience to await them the next time they stroll out into their yard. The neighborly thing for us dog owners to do is carry along a pooper-scooper and a plastic garbage bag when we go out for walks so that, in the event that mother nature comes calling for our dog, we can clean up the mess left behind so that our neighbors don’t have to clean up for us. Please make every effort to clean up behind your dog because leaving fecal matter in someone’s yard is not only rude, it is potentially dangerous to your neighbor's children and their guests.
